Ed milband or DAVE CAMERON for PM?
Let me put...in my 10p worth of opinion into today's political Election debate.
Let me ...start by saying that I voted for Tony Blair when he was the Labour leader. If you have grievances about the war...it is a different matter.HE CLEARLY,WAS NOT A FAILURE AS A
PRIME MINISTER.(or else we would not have voted him in again...)
My issue with today's political atmosphere...lies with the naivety that seems to be enjoying a significant hearing in today's debate. There are two history lessons,we [the British electorate]seem to be forgetting:The American Lesson and the GREECE lesson. We seem to have forgotten...the depths of economic destruction that existed during George bushs'reign as U.S.A President. He was a gun touting and ego posturing president. And he seemed ...to lack the economic intelligence and wisdom Al Gore, would have provided the Americans .However, our cousins on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean decided to vote him in.Now,some claim George W. Bush rigged the election[Of course, there is no conclusive proof to that assertion]What is significant to me...[and should be,to the British population]is the significant percentage of American voters who felt George was a suitable presidential candidate to seat in the Oval Office. We can certainly see how that went down. The most ridiculed American president,by a mile[even Obama haters would attest to that statement]Some defenders of George Bushes economic record...would point to the Bank crisis.[As some do here...]Ask yourself ...this question.Who created and encouraged the atmosphere for the bankers to loot billions of ordinary folks money?
Now,you would probably be asking...how this is connected to the British situation?Gordon Brown [as labour chancellor] was in charge of the countries economy when things went sour.He too[along with Ed miliband]claim...the economy was raked by the bankers.I am sure ...a lot of people would disagree.[Jugding by the gasp that followed his assertion on the LAST BBC DEBATE]He looked uncomfortable answering those tough questions. We cannot afford to put in power...someone whose idea of over spending,is only judged by what you spend it on.Ed...if you clear out your bank account and savings ....for a good charity cause-would you turn around and tell your family that you have not OVERSPENT?
The sad thing ...about the situation in which we find ourselves is that....people who are determined to VOTE labour in this election ...know the implications of what they about to do.It is the PAIN...OF THE austerity measures that is swaying a lot of minds. They want some relief. This takes me to the second lesson:GREECE .
The GREECE population rebelled against the austerity measures that the EU and Greece's last Government imposed upon them. They went to the ballot box...and made a change. They installed new leaders...who claimed they could get them some relief.[anyone getting some de-Ja vu feeling here?]Today, the new leaders are fighting between two options:Trying to convince German led EU ...to ease the burden and Greece exit.IT IS NOT EASY.The naivety of the Greece people and their new leaders...would cost them even more,if they are not careful. The world is a global marketplace...no-one is going to give you a free lunch[advantage over themselves and others],simply because you are barking loudest[crying]It used ...to work in the past but,it no longer works now. Why?because despite ...the brave front many are putting up,world leaders know[from the bank crisis]that any slight false move, and a lot of their citizens would be in trouble.SO BRITAIN SHOULD HEED THE WARNING:Do not jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
I would like ...to make a small comment,on RUSSELL BRAND's role.Listen mate...you are a clever guy[and I disagree with Dave, when he referred to you as a Joke]But,a man(a leader) is not suitable to lead simply because he would listen to what the people would say.[by the way...he is not prepared to do that ...on the EU referendum ?]A leader is voted in....based upon his ability to understand political establishments, organise and control his followers as well as have a sincere heart to do what he says....Ed Miliband CANNOT control his party, and his weak belief in his ability to persuade his opponents, would be a fatal flaw against SCOTLAND ,EU and some section of the British public.
His idea of convincing others...is using force.[like George Bush did...]The problem with...his style and sense of judgement ...is that a LOT MORE PEOPLE...would get hurt.[because of his incompetence]A lot of people I speak to...say,do NOT underestimate Ed Milband[not labour].And I say,do not...vote someone in...because [we British love the fight of an underdog]someone is the underdog. And do not...vote someone in...because the pain of poverty is unbearable. If you are a British football fan...how would you like Hull,BURNLEY or Leicester City to represent us in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEXT YEAR?Of Course,if you are a club supporter of any of those ..clubs,it would be HEAVEN.However, the remainder of us...would rather have CHELSEA,ARSENAL,MAN CITY AND MAN UNITED OR LIVERPOOL HAVE ANOTHER go at it[despite the fact...that they all went out before the serious stages of the last competition]Ed Milband has almost...changed the Labour Party:You decide whether he has changed it for the better or for worse?Jugde by their actions and not their vehement words.
Remember Ed Milband cannot handle Nicola sturgeon of SNP ..how would he handle a whole LABOUR PARTY?If you think...he is doing a good job of it now...consider how many powerful figures in the LABOUR PARTY are silent during this campaign?Tombstone of remembrance?Please...DO YOU THINK GOVERNANCE IS ..CHILDS PLAY.If you cannot remember your aim ...in Government,Ed ...you have a huge problem. The vagueness of what is written ...on the stone says it all.PLEASE BRITAIN DO NOT MAKE ...THE SAME MISTAKE US,GREECE AND NIGERIA MADE..
